| The schools are mainly situated in the south-western corner of the country, close to the Mgahinga National Park, the home of the mountain gorillas, on the Rwandan border. The area is just south of Bwindi National Park. |

The main town in this area is Kisoro. The village schools we have supported in this area are at Mukibugu, Gitenderi, Rukongi, Rurembwe, Bukazi, Kabami, and Nyakabaya. In 2006 we visited the school at Nyarusunzu for the first time, and we have already completed our first project to help them. We have also contributed to St. Joseph School at Mwangi village, near Luwero, in central Uganda. |
